A new video featuring director Park Chan-wook, Lee Byung-hun, and actor Park Hee-soon for the upcoming film 'No Other Choice', set for release on the 24th of this month, was posted on Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel “Lee Min-jung MJ” on the 16th.
Lee Byung-hun made his first official appearance on Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel to promote the film.
Earlier, when launching her channel, Lee Min-jung had promised, “When I reach 500,000 subscribers, I'll have Lee Byung-hun and Director Park Chan-wook appear together.” However, by this date, subscribers had only reached the 380,000 mark, meaning the promise wasn't fulfilled. Consequently, Lee Byung-hun appeared in the video with his face blurred, drawing laughter.
Lee Min-jung appeared nervous in the video, saying, “I'm using honorifics, so it's not going very well.” Lee Byung-hun greeted viewers as if the promise had been fulfilled and his face revealed, saying, “Today, on ‘Lee Min-jung MJ’ YouTube, for the first time, I'm appearing like this, all neat and tidy,” drawing attention. Park Hee-sun remarked, “There's a chance it might get blurred,” but Lee Byung-hun responded, “It feels great and truly an honor to finally be able to show myself to everyone like this without any blurring,” expressing his anticipation for revealing his face and adding to the laughter.
Lee Min-jung teased, “Why did you get all dressed up like this? Your face wasn't supposed to show anyway,” to which Lee Byung-hun replied, “Since I don't know what will happen, I think it's right to speak as if my face is visible,” drawing laughter.
Park Hee-soon reunited with Lee Min-jung for the first time in about 12 years since they co-starred in the SBS drama “All About My Romance.” He is also the husband of actress Park Ye-jin. Regarding this, Lee Min-jung asked Park Hee-soon, “Do actor couples help each other during script readings?” Park Hee-soon candidly replied, “It's embarrassing, so I do it alone,” drawing interest.
Lee Min-jung responded, “We tried it too, but it was so awkward we couldn't do it,” and revealed, “Senior (Lee Byung-hun) suddenly starts acting like a wooden dummy,” causing the studio to burst into laughter.
Director Park Chan-wook, who had been listening intently, added, “It's training to handle any partner as they are,” adding to the laughter.
Meanwhile, Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung married in 2013 and have since welcomed a son and a daughter.
