SEVENTEEN's HOSHI enlists in the military today (16th)... surprise release of new song ”TAKE A SHOT”

SEVENTEEN member HOSHI to surprise release solo track on enlistment day.

According to PLEDIS Entertainment, HOSHI will release his new song 'TAKE A SHOT' today (16th) at 6 PM KST via various online music sites.

'TAKE A SHOT' is a hip-hop track grounded in the rage genre, characterized by its intense atmosphere. HOSHI's powerful and seasoned rap blends with diverse synth sounds and guitar riffs, creating a track that feels both solid and fast-paced.

HOSHI personally participated in writing the lyrics for this song, expressing his surging passion through the words. His determination and aspirations, entering a new chapter with his 10th anniversary as a turning point, stand out. The raw sound effects, raw energy, and swagger-filled lyrics heighten anticipation for HOSHI's future.

This year, HOSHI demonstrated his broad musical spectrum, starting with the second single 'TELEPARTY' by the special unit 'BSS' (SEUNGKWAN, DK, HOSHI), followed by the first single ‘BEAM’ under HOSHI X WOOZI, and finally the 5th full album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' by SEVENTEEN. From July to August this year, as HOSHI X WOOZI, they held 11 fan concerts across 5 cities in Korea and abroad, drawing over 100,000 attendees.

He is also steadily building his career as a solo artist. He has released works including his 2021 mixtape 'Spider', solo tracks 'I Want You Back', 'STAY', 'Tiger (Feat.
