Meanwhile, according to a survey conducted by Realmeter on the 11th and 12th of this month targeting 1,001 voters, the ruling Democratic Party of Korea has increased in popularity since the previous survey.
The ruling party's approval rating fell 0.3 percentage points to 44.3%, while the People's Power Party's approval rating rose 0.2 percentage points to 36.4%. This marks the second consecutive week of declines for the ruling party, and the People's Power Party's approval rating has fallen for the third consecutive week.
This was followed by the New Reform Party (4.4%), the Fatherland Reform Party (2.6%), and the Progressive Party (1.5%), with independents making up 8.7%.
