”Unidentified rubber boat” discovered on Jeju Island (South Korea)

An unidentified rubber boat was discovered on the west coast of South Korea's Cheju Island, prompting a joint investigation by the Coast Guard, police and military.
According to the Coast Guard and other sources, an unidentified rubber boat was discovered on the coast of Jeju City at around 7:56 a.m. on the 8th.
The Coast Guard responded to the report and found a rubber boat with a 90 horsepower engine at the scene around 8:20 a.m.
Inside the boat were 12 fuel cans, six life vests, emergency food including bread wrapped in paper with Chinese writing on it, and fishing rods.
The Maritime Police, police and military forces are investigating the incident, considering all possibilities, such as whether the boat was used for smuggling or whether it was related to a marine accident.
