President Putin attends China's Victory Day celebrations and tells Kim Jong-un, ”We will never forget the brave North Korean military.”

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who is visiting China to attend the military parade marking the 80th anniversary of China's victory in the Second World War, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin there.
According to the Russian state-run TASS news agency on the 3rd, President Putin expressed his gratitude to the North Korean military for participating in the Ukraine War during the meeting, saying, "The relationship between the two countries is friendly and trustworthy.
"Under the leadership of Chairman Kim, we assisted in the liberation of Kursk Oblast. Russia will never forget the North Korean troops who fought bravely," Putin said, adding, "Regarding bilateral relations,
"I'm glad to have had the opportunity to talk with you about various issues," he said. Kim also expressed his gratitude for such praise for the North Korean military, saying, "Russia-North Korea relations are developing in all areas."
He also said, "North Korea will definitely assist Russia in any way it can, and supporting Russia is a fraternal duty," adding, "The two countries should make efforts to strengthen cooperation in various fields."
