Seventeen's new special unit, S.COUPS X MINGYU (C×M), will release their first album on the 29th, according to management office PLE.

"MINGYU" is a unit formed by SEVENTEEN member S.COUPS and MINGYU.
The trailer, which was released by the management office on various online channels at midnight on the same day, shows the two enjoying a beach party in Los Angeles.
The trailer also features 3D characters "Kute" and "Mante." The management office said of these characters, "They are created to fill the earth with energy through music."
"The setting is that they are alien life forms that visit the world," he explained. "S.COUPS X MINGYU's first album will be a mini album and will be released as 'HYPE
The management office titled the video "VIBES." The video expressed a passionate and free atmosphere where anyone can have fun and connect with others.
"It reflects S.COUPS and MINGYU's attitude of living in the moment at their own rhythm without any set framework."
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN recently won the Best Video Music Award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards in the US.
They will be performing at the Incheon Asian Stadium for two days from the 13th to the 14th.
