”ILLIT” tops charts upon debut in Japan... proving their popularity once again

The group ILLIT had a meaningful first encounter with their fans when they made their Japanese debut. ILLIT held a showcase to celebrate the release of their first single, "Toki yo Tomare," in Tokyo on the 1st.
The event was attended by over 550 fans and reporters, who were selected in advance by lottery, and the concert was streamed live online via YouTube and TikTok.
Approximately 300,000 people connected simultaneously, proving the band's passionate interest. On this day, ILLIT heated up the atmosphere with their release preview song "Topping," and then performed their title song "Stop Time."
The disco-pop-based rhythmic sound, addictive lyrics, and refreshing choreography all blended together to maximize ILLIT's unique and adorable charm.
In particular, the choreography with the second hand of a clock, which applied the key movements from their debut song "Magnetic," caught the eye. "ILLIT" said, "It was a pleasure to meet GLLIT (fandom name) up close on this special day.
"I'm happy. I will do my best to let more people in Japan know about ILLIT," he said, adding, "I will grow into an artist who conveys positive energy."
Immediately after its release, the title track rose to number one on Japan's AWA Music real-time trending chart, and the music video reached number five on YouTube's worldwide trending chart.
ILLIT will hold a Japanese fan concert, "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN" at Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka on the 3rd and 4th.
Prior to this, all seats were sold out, once again proving their popularity in Japan.
