A terrifying woman pours boiling water on her sleeping husband's face (Korea)

A South Korean woman in her 30s was sentenced to prison for stabbing her sleeping male roommate with a deadly weapon. The 12th Criminal Division of the Ulsan District Court tried her on charges of attempted murder and special assault.
On the 1st, the prosecution announced that it had sentenced Defendant A (female, in her 30s) to two years and six months in prison. According to the charges filed by the prosecution, on the night of early March, Defendant A attacked Ms. B (female, in her 30s) who was living with her at her home in Ulsan.
The two men argued over a past affair. Afterward, when B entered the room and went to sleep, the angry defendant poured boiling water over B, causing burns to his head, neck, hands, etc.
He then swung the weapon at Mr. B, who had woken up, injuring his face, arms, and other parts of his body.
When Mr. B tried to take the murder weapon, Defendant A brought back another murder weapon he had hidden in his trousers.
He took out a knife and stabbed Mr. B in the abdomen. Mr. A suffered injuries that took five weeks to heal and was treated at a hospital. The court stated, "Considering the circumstances of the crime, the level of planning, and the location of the injuries on the victim, the nature of the crime is extremely poor.
The victim had to undergo multiple surgeries and is believed to have suffered considerable pain. However, the fact that the defendant contacted 119 immediately after the crime when the victim requested help, and the fact that he admitted to all the crimes and did not show any fault,
"We also took into consideration the fact that he showed remorse and that he reached a criminal agreement with the victim," the police said.
