BIGHIT releases statement regarding JIMIN (BTS) and Song Da-eun's Relationship Rumors

BTS's agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, has issued a statement stating that member Jimin and Song Da-eun, who appeared on Channel A's 'Heart Signal 2', broke up several years ago and are no longer in a relationship.

"We have not issued a statement until now out of respect for the person who has been the subject of much discussion regarding Jimin's private life. However, as speculative reports have been published about our artist's private life and false rumors are circulating, we are issuing a statement, albeit unwillingly, to clarify the facts," the agency said.

According to the agency, "JIMIN had a romantic relationship with his partner in the past, but that was several years ago, and we have confirmed that they are not currently in a relationship."

The agency added, "We ask that you refrain from making thoughtless speculations about our artist's private life," and "We sincerely ask that you refrain from any actions that may cause harm to the other parties mentioned along with the artist."

Jimin and actress Song Da-eun have been the subject of multiple dating rumors since 2022. Recently, a video titled "Video posted by Song Da-eun on TikTok" was circulating online, garnering attention. The video, which is about 1 minute and 50 seconds long, shows a woman surprising a man believed to be Jimin in front of an elevator in an apartment building, sparking speculation among some netizens that the two were "enjoying a date at home."
