日本のアニメ映画「劇場版『鬼滅の刃』無限城編 第一章 猗窩座再来』が、公開10日で観客動員数300万人を超えた。
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle surpasses 3 million viewers in 10 days since release... the shortest time for any film released this year
The Japanese anime film "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns" has attracted more than 3 million viewers in just 10 days since its release. This is the shortest time for any film released this year to reach this milestone, and it's surprising.
According to the Film Council's integrated cinema ticketing network on the 31st, the film had a cumulative total of 3,012,116 viewers as of 12:01 a.m. on the 10th day.
After surpassing the previous record of 2.22 million viewers set by the previous film, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" (2021), in just six days, it surpassed the 3 million mark in just 10 days, once again proving the depth of its fan base.
This is one day earlier than the record set by "My Daughter Has Become a Zombie," which, together with "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," is one of the two strongest summer movie box office hits, surpassing 3 million viewers in just 11 days since its release.
It surpassed "Haul's Moving Castle" (2004), which attracted 100,000 viewers, and rose to fourth place in the all-time box office rankings of Japanese anime.
"Akaza Returns" was released in Japan on the 18th of last month and is currently ranked third in Japan's all-time box office rankings.
