In episode 5 of "Unknown Seoul" (viewer rating 4.4%), the past of Miji (Park Bo Young) and Hoo-soo (Park Jin Young), who were each other's support in life, was revealed.
When Miji heard that Hosoo's first love was not his sister Mi-rae (played by Park Bo Young in a second role), but her, she asked him about when he first fell in love and what caused their relationship to go sour.
Hoss responded by saying that he had fallen in love with Miji after an incident at Duseon Peak, a mountain that all the students climbed according to school tradition, further confusing Miji.
Hosoo, who was confused between the twin sisters, headed to Duseon-ri to meet Miji in an attempt to clarify his feelings. However, Miji, who Hosoo was visiting, was in Seoul pretending to be Mirae.
Ho-soo tells Mi-rae, who is pretending to be Mi-ji, about the time he met Mi-ji at Duseon Peak and expresses his gratitude, saying, "That time was a turning point in my life."
Mi-rae reacts calmly, and Ho-soo feels a strange sense of discomfort due to her different reaction from before. Mi-rae tells Mi-ji that she spoke with Ho-soo and mentions the rumors about their relationship from a long time ago.
He corrected Miji's misunderstanding. On the day of the athletics meet where Miji was injured, the reason Mirae was held in Hosoo's arms was because her condition had suddenly worsened. Miji was able to avoid losing her precious friend due to a small misunderstanding.
He blamed himself for missing out on everything. Furthermore, Miji, who was writing a business report for the first time in his life, worked day and night to produce a perfect result, but ended up with a poor result.
As a coworker at work comforted her, having helped her complete the report, Miji suddenly confessed about the time she had been holed up in her room. On the day they climbed Duseon Peak, Hosoo said to her,
As she remembered the incident, she remembered the day she walked out the door and approached the old lady. As her emotions rose, Miji headed towards Hosoo, and with the help of alcohol, she explained that she had been to Duseon Peak.
He said to Mi-rae, "I'll do it." So Ho-soo started talking about Mi-rae, the only person who believed in him when he couldn't believe in himself. Mi-rae listened to this in silence and realized that she was pretending to be Mi-rae.
Forgetting all about her feelings, she confessed to Hoss, "I liked you too." Hoss was shocked by Miji's unexpected confession.
