Korean singer ”UN” former member Choi under police investigation for stalking

Actor Choi Jung Woo-won, a member of the Korean singer group UNformer, is under police investigation for alleged stalking. The Seoul Central Police Station said he visited the home of a female acquaintance with a knife and engaged in other stalking activities.
On the 19th, it was revealed that charges were filed against Choi on the 16th for allegedly committing a crime involving a woman who was a victim of a crime. The police have taken safety measures for the victim and have also applied for emergency first aid measures against Choi.
The court reportedly approved emergency first aid measures for Choi, including prohibiting the assailant from approaching within 100 meters of the victim and banning them from using mobile phones or other electronic devices.
Violation of this law could result in imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million won (approximately 1.1 million yen).
Police are currently investigating Choi to find out the circumstances surrounding the crime.
