Civil servant sexually assaults teenager on moving train, causing uproar in Japan = Reported in South Korea

A Japanese civil servant in his 40s has been indicted for sexually assaulting a high school girl on a moving train. According to the Sankei Shimbun, the Kyoto District Public Prosecutors Office announced on the 5th that Toshiya Kiso, a civil servant from Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture, was the suspect.
The police announced that Kiso, 42, had been indicted on suspicion of non-consensual sexual intercourse. On May 15th of this year, between 10:03pm and 21pm, Kiso had sexual intercourse with a high school student who was sitting next to him on a JR Sanin Line train.
According to the Kyoto Prefectural Police, Kiso, who boarded the train at Kyoto Station, approached A, who was sitting by the window in a two-seater seat, at Saga Arashiyama Station.
During the police investigation, Mr. A stated that he was "too shocked and scared to make a sound."
Mr. A consulted with a teacher at school the day after the incident, and the police then began their investigation.
According to Moriyama City, Kiso is on administrative leave due to the indictment, and the city plans to consider disciplinary action.
