Korean Air to launch premium class in September, featuring spacious seats and special benefits (Korea)

Korean Air announced that it will operate the first aircraft equipped with its new "Premium Class" seating class on medium- and long-haul routes from mid-September.
The company will invest approximately 300 billion won (approximately 31,785,120,000 yen) to upgrade 11 Boeing 777-330ER aircraft.

The price is set at approximately 110% of normal prices. There are a total of 40 seats. The seats are about 1.5 times wider than economy class, with a seat pitch of 39 to 41 inches (approximately 1 meter), which is the same as major overseas airlines.
It's wider than the premium economy class operated by airlines. It's 19.5 inches (about 50 centimeters) wide, and all seats have footrests. The seatbacks can be reclined up to 130 degrees.
The in-flight meal is Korean-style, consisting of a main dish and dessert, and the tableware and cutlery are from the Italian luxury brand "Armani/Casa." Beverages for the same class are also available.
Premium class passengers also have access to airport lounges, priority baggage collection, and boarding priority over economy class passengers.
