China's small and medium-sized industrial companies saw their added value increase 8.0% year-on-year in the first half of the year: Chinese media

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the economic operations of China's small and medium-sized enterprises remained stable overall in the first half of this year, and all major economic indicators maintained growth.

The value increased by 8.0% compared to the same period last year. In particular, the development of "specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative" small and medium-sized enterprises (small and medium-sized enterprises with the four characteristics of specialization, sophistication, distinctiveness, and novelty) was strong.
The added value of "specialized, advanced, and innovative" small and medium-sized enterprises increased by 8.6%. In terms of sales, the total profits of small and medium-sized enterprises in 19 of the 31 major manufacturing industries continued to increase.
The equipment manufacturing industry, including computers, communication and electronic equipment, and electrical machinery, showed relatively high growth. Meanwhile, exports by small and medium-sized enterprises as a whole remained strong. The export index for small and medium-sized enterprises in June was 52.1.
It has exceeded 50, the dividing line between economic expansion and contraction, for one year and three consecutive months.
