Former President Yoon and his wife's visit to Ukraine is ”illegal”...Opposition party accuses them of ”passport law violation” = South Korea

Lawmakers from the South Korean opposition Fatherland Reform Party have criticized former President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife for their visit to Ukraine in July 2023, calling it "illegal entry."
Four members of the Fatherland Reform Party held a press conference at the National Assembly on the 4th and said, "Former President Yoon's visit to Ukraine on July 15, 2023, was a violation of the Passport Act.
Former President Yoon began his overseas tour on July 10, 2023, for the NATO summit and a visit to Poland, but he left without any prior teaser.
He made a surprise visit to Krajina and held a summit with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Regarding this, a member of parliament from the Fatherland Reform Party said, "Ukraine will be subject to a travel ban from February 2022.
"If you go to a country that is designated as a travel ban country, you must obtain the approval of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for exceptional passport use," he said. "Former President Yoon and his wife entered Ukraine without application or approval, so
"This is a clear violation of the Passport Act," he emphasized. "The presidential office publicized the visit as a 'surprise visit' and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed with this," he added. "The presidential office knew about the illegality.
"Even though they were violating the Passport Act, they covered it up through political marketing. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also aided and abetted the violation, despite knowing about it."
