Ahn Cheol-soo, the People's Power Party's candidate for president, directly challenged Jeong Cheong-rae, the new leader of the ruling Democratic Party.
On the 3rd, Ahn posted a message on his SNS with the title, "Chairman Chung Cheong-rae, please keep your mouth shut."
He wrote, "Chairman Chung Cheong-rae, I thought maybe it was true, and it turns out it was. It was a nonsense right from the start. How can someone who has taken on the role of commander of a huge ruling party not join forces with the opposition party?
This is a declaration of war. They are putting their huge seats in the forefront and teasing more blatant parliamentary dictatorship and legislative rampage.
He continued, "The People's Power Party has been apologizing for the martial law. I am at the forefront of apologizing to the people. However, you pointed out the facts during the impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court.
"Have you ever apologized even once for the legislative outrages of the Democratic Party of Korea led by Lee Jae-myung, the paralysis of national politics, and the bulletproof National Assembly?"
He added, "You keep talking about dissolving the People's Power, but please shut your mouth.

Prior to this, Chairman Chung Cheong-rae won a landslide victory over candidate Park Chan-dae at the Democratic Party convention the previous day.
