Fire on naval vessel entering Jinhae port leaves two patients with burns, etc. (South Korea)

A fire broke out on a naval vessel, causing crew members to suffer burns. The navy said on the 31st, "The landing ship Hyangnobo, which was docked at Jinhae Naval Port at around 3:49 pm today,
"A fire broke out in the auxiliary engine room (generator room) of the Hyangrobong submarine and is currently being extinguished," the statement said. There are about 180 people on board the Hyangrobong submarine, including crew members, and two patients are suffering from burns and difficulty breathing.
One patient with burns was transferred to the Marine Medical Center. The Navy said, "All personnel except the captain and pilot have left the ship," and "We are deploying all available forces to contain the fire."
"We are currently extinguishing the fire," he said.
