On the 25th, Lee Min Woo, a member of the group SHINHWA, announced his marriage on his Instagram account, saying, “I've always had a vague desire to build a family where we can support each other.” He added, “After confirming our feelings with someone I've known for a long time, we decided to become one family.”

Lee Min Woo admitted, “I struggled a lot with how to convey this message, and it wasn’t easy to pick up the pen,” but added, “I considered the possibility that others might hear this news before me, which would be disappointing and sad for the fans, so I decided to share this message first, even if it’s poorly written.” He concluded, “I hope you will bless this story, which I share with all my heart, with warm hearts.”

He continued, “Thanks to the warm support and love of the fans who have always supported me despite my shortcomings, I have gained the courage to take another step forward. Though there may be changes in my life in the future, I promise to continue my activities on stage and everywhere else, driven by the love of the fans and my family, as Lee Min-woo.”

Lee Min Woo debuted in 1998 as a member of the group “SHINHWA” and gained a lot of popularity. Following Eric, Jung Jin, and Andy, he became the fourth member to join the “Sold-Out Men.” He is currently appearing on KBS2's “Men Who Do Housework 2.”

Especially during this unpredictable and capricious summer, how are you all doing?

I successfully completed my first exhibition and seem to have gained a little mental leeway.

So today, I picked up my pen to share the news I wanted to convey first to Myth Creation (fan club name).

Recently, while going through various situations that were mentally challenging and exhausting, I spent a lot of time with my family and came to reevaluate the meaning of family. I had always had a vague desire to build a family where we could support each other. In that context, I confirmed the same feelings with someone I had known for a long time and decided to become one family.

Myth Creation must have been surprised by this sudden news...

I truly struggled with how to convey this news, and it wasn’t easy to pick up the pen, but thinking about how Myth Creation might feel lonely and sad if they heard this news from someone else first, I decided to share it first, even if my words are clumsy.

I want Myth Creation, whom I cherish more than anyone else, to celebrate this news, and I hope they will bless this story, which I am sharing with all my heart, with warm hearts.

From debuting as “SHINHWA” through passionate teens, twenties, and thirties, up until now...

For a long time, I have been a fortunate person who has always received overflowing love and support from the myth-creators. Thanks to the myth-creators who have always supported me with warm encouragement and love despite my shortcomings, I have gained the courage to take another step forward. There have been difficult times, but every moment I’ve lived as Lee Min-woo on stage has been nothing but happiness.

Though there may be changes in my life ahead, I promise to continue my activities on stage and everywhere else, driven by the love of SHINHWA and my family, as Lee Min-woo who will meet all of you again.

My gratitude and love for Myth Creation can never be fully expressed.
