TVXQ's Yunho: ”Pineapple” is a necessary challenge... The fourth lesson is patience
Yunho of TVXQ has revealed his thoughts on appearing in Pine: The Outlaws.

On the 25th, Yunho released a new photo shoot and interview in the August issue of ARENA.

Prior to this, Yunho has been receiving praise for his role as Chang Bol-g, an outlaw from Mokpo, in the recently aired Disney+ original series Pine: The Outlaws.

For this role, Yunho frequently called a friend living in Jeollado to practice his lines over the phone. He shared, “The character description reads, ‘Borg is very cool on the surface.’ He has been treated as a rogue his entire life. Borg also has the belief that ‘one day, I will definitely show everyone my successful side.’ I wanted to convey that aspect of Borg's heart.”

Yunho has been in the industry for over 20 years, but he still speaks passionately about his roles as a singer and actor. For him, playing Borg in “Pine: The Outlaws” was an essential challenge. “As an actor, I've shown some works, but I want people to think, ‘Can Jung Yunho do this too?’ In that sense, ‘Pine: The Outlaws’ was a necessary challenge for me,” he said.

When asked what the final “fourth lesson” was, he replied, "Endure and endure again. I've been doing the same thing for 20 years, but it's still difficult and challenging. But because I endured, something always came back. Who would have thought that ‘Thank U’ would gain such attention? I firmly believe that the perfect timing will come for everyone. If it gets tough along the way, it's okay to take a break. As long as you come back. And to come back that way, you must manage yourself well."

Meanwhile, “Pine: The Outlaws” is the story of a group of hardworking, honest, and resourceful town outlaws who gather to obtain a treasure ship buried at sea in 1977, a tale of deceit and being deceived.
