JIN, who is currently holding his first solo fan concert and first solo world tour (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR) from June 28th to August 10th, held his first Dallas concert at the American Airlines Center (AAC) in Dallas, USA, on the 22nd (local time).
Like his previous performances, the concert was a sold-out event with endless lines for merchandise and every seat filled to capacity, including the standing-room-only section. In front of the packed audience, JIN delivered a stunning live performance with his 'god of beauty' visuals, solid and refreshing sound, and impeccable stage manners and fan service, sparking enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.
TouringAsiaPop's official account once again referred to JIN as the 'King Seokjin' and announced the new records he had set. Both days of JIN's two-day concert were sold out, making his performance the highest-selling show at the American Airlines Center. Additionally, JIN made history as the first Asian soloist to achieve a sold-out performance at the American Airlines Center.
According to TouringAsiaPop's official account, Ticketmaster continuously added seats and sold additional tickets as the shows neared sell-out, resulting in the highest number of tickets sold at the venue. It also revealed that “with the seats sold out, the worldwide heartthrob ‘King Seokjin’ has broken the American Airlines Center's new record as an Asian solo artist.”
The Pop Core official account also reported that JIN drew an enormous crowd at the sold-out concert in Dallas, proving his ability to sell out venues.
Dallas, Texas, known as the “home of cowboys,” demonstrated its passionate support for JIN by preparing a Dallas Stars ice hockey team uniform marked with 'JIN 1', a specially made cowboy hat, and a Wootteo (JIN's official character) larger than a person's height. Dallas, like Anaheim, welcomed JIN by lighting up its skyline in purple, the color symbolizing BTS, and JIN wore the ice hockey uniform he received as a gift during soundcheck and the cowboy hat during the concert.
'Echo', JIN secured the top spot as the best-selling Korean soloist album in the United States during the first half of 2025. Starting with the sold-out June 28th and 29th concerts in Korea, where tickets sold out immediately upon release, he also achieved rare sell-outs in Japan, including the 8th floor and obstructed view seats at the Kyocera Dome, as well as two sold-out days in Anaheim, California, and setting a new record at the Honda Center, carving out a new chapter in history.
JIN is set to perform on the second day of his concert in Dallas, USA, today. He will continue his tour in Tampa and Newark, followed by 18 performances across nine cities, including London, UK, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Notably, JIN will become the first K-POP solo artist to hold a solo concert at the London O2 Arena, setting a new record.
