[4th Blue Dragon Series Awards] Ae Seung takes first place! IU wins Best Actress Award for ”Thank You”

Singer and actress IU was honored with the Best Actress award at the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards, held at Paradise City in Incheon on the afternoon of the 18th.
Former member of Naeun, talent Jun Hyun Moo, and actress Yuna, a member of Girls' Generation, served as MCs for the fourth consecutive year.
The nominees for the TV Series Best Actress award were Park Eun-bi (LADIES' CODE) from "Hyper Knife: The Dark Genius Surgeon" and Seo Hyo-young (Trunk).
Among the other nominees were Lim Jin, IU for "Good Work," HYERI (Girl's Day) for "Race of Goodwill," and Cha Juyeon for "Former Honor," IU emerged as the winner.
When her name was called, IU hugged Yeom Hye Ran. Then IU stood on the stage and said in a trembling voice, "I'm in charge of the roles of Ae Seung and Geum Myung.
IU said, "When I was first asked to do 'Thank You,' when I was filming, when I was waiting for it to air, until now, and even in the future, I'm really grateful."
"It's the work I'm most proud of in my life," he said, expressing his affection for the project, saying, "It was a great honor to work with the 'Otsukaresama' team."
He continued, "It's difficult to say something to each person, but I would like to thank the ending team, including writer Im Sang-choon and director Kim Won-seok.
"Thanks to all the cast members and staff who appeared in 'Legit,' I think I had the most fun of my life," she said, "I'm so grateful to them for entrusting me with the role of the cute, noisy and smart Oh Ae-seung."
IU also said, "I am very grateful for being able to do this. I am also grateful to my fans." She added, "In a world that forces us to live vague lives, I have chosen to live my own life more clearly than anyone else.
