The number of people holding a driver's license for a motor vehicle was 550 million, of which 515 million held a driver's license for a car.
The number of newly registered motor vehicles in the first half of this year was 16.88 million. Of these, the number of newly registered automobiles was 12.5 million, up 0.68% from the same period last year.
