Onew (ONEW), a member of the boy group SHINee, will release his new solo full album "PERCENT" today (15th).
This is Onew's first new release in about five months since the release of their fourth mini-album "CONNECTION" in January this year.
"PERCENT" is the second full album, and contains a total of 11 songs. The album is filled with songs that sing about the aesthetics of imperfection. The title song deals with the theme of the moment of instinctual release.
The song is "ANIMALS." Management office GRIFFIN Entertainment said, "The refined bass line, acoustic guitar sound, and fast-paced synth sounds are the highlight of the album."
The music video for the title track, which will be released along with the album, features a scene that goes beyond the boundaries of reason and judgment to create a sleep-inducing atmosphere.
The video includes a story that awakens the instincts that people have for themselves. The management office explained that the video is "a message that conveys our wish that people will follow their instincts, act freely, and feel happy."
The songs recorded in the album are "Silky," which has the theme of laziness and rest, "Caffeine," which emphasizes the unique texture of harmony,
"Marshmallow" expresses the feeling of falling in love through sound, "Confidence" expresses the inner self that moves forward unwaveringly even in the midst of uncertainty, and "Confidence" expresses the small things in the repetition of everyday life.
"I'm OK" is a song that humorously conveys a gentle and certain comfort. "Far Away" is a song about wanting to run away in the midst of chaos.

Onew will be releasing all the songs on various music streaming sites at 6pm on the same day. Onew will also be releasing a new album at Shinsegae Cafe Seoul from the 15th.
A pop-up store will also be held to commemorate the album release at the open stage of the Gangnam store.
