The results of a regular survey conducted in the second week of July among 2,513 voters aged 8 and above showed that President Lee's approval rating was 64.6%, while disapproval was 30.0%. 5.4% chose "Don't know/no answer."
In the past Realmeter polls, President Lee's approval rating has been "rising" since he took office. Realmeter said, "President Lee's approval rating has been rising since he took office.
"It has continued to rise for five weeks since then, approaching the mid-60 percent range," he said, adding, "This indicates that his approval rating is gaining further momentum."
Meanwhile, Realmeter conducted a survey of 10,000 voters aged 18 and over on the 10th and 11th of this month.
The results of a survey of party support rates conducted among 30,000 people (second week of July) showed that the ruling Democratic Party of Korea received 56.2% of the vote, while the People Power Party received 24.3%.
Realmeter said, "The ruling party's approval rating has risen for three consecutive weeks, reaching its highest level since the second week of June 2018 (57.0%).
"The People Power Party's approval rating has fallen for three consecutive weeks, hitting a new low even lower than its lowest level in the third week of May 2020 (24.8%)."
This was followed by the Fatherland Reform Party (.9%), the New Reform Party (3.7%), the Progressive Party (0.4%), etc., while independents were at 9.2%.
