Swordfish are found mainly in warm and tropical waters such as the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean. In Korea, they are found in the Namhe (South Sea)
It is a rare fish species that only lives in the ocean off the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula and the open sea of Cheju Island. On the other hand, in addition to the swordfish, a 200kg bluefin tuna was also caught in the waters off Jeongrajin on that day.
