「PLAVE」、日本デビューと同時にオリコン「デイリーシングルランキング」1位獲得
”PLAVE” ranked first on Oricon's ”Daily Single Ranking” upon Japanese debut
Korean virtual idol group "PLAVE" topped the Oricon charts upon their Japanese debut.
According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 9th (dated July 8, 2025), "PLAVE
"'s first Japanese single album "Hide and Seek" recorded sales of over 190,000 on the first day of release and rose to number one on the "Daily Single Rankings."
This is from their third mini album "Caligo" released in Korea in February this year.
This is a success following "Pt.1" reaching number one on the Oricon Daily Album Chart, and the group continues to grow rapidly.
Following the release of their new album on June 16th, PLAVE successfully completed their debut showcase in Tokyo on the 17th and has now begun full-scale activities.
This album includes "PLAVE's" first original Japanese song, the title song "Kakurenho", as well as "RIZZ-Japanese", a new adaptation of existing songs with Japanese lyrics.
A total of three songs were recorded: "Chroma Drift-Japanese Ver." and "Chroma Drift-Japanese Ver." The debut album topped the Oricon charts, and the band got off to a good start.
With the number of fans reaching 100,000 this year, there is a lot of interest in the global journey that "PLAVE" will take in the future. Meanwhile, "PLAVE" will be performing at the Seoul Olympic Stadium for three days from August 15th to 17th.
The concert will be held at KSPO DOME in Koen, and will mark the start of their first Asian tour in just two years since their debut, "DASH: Quantum Leap."
