Remixpoint, an energy company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, has announced that Takashi Tashiro,
Tashiro announced that its new CEO will have his entire salary paid in Bitcoin.
Remixpoint said in a statement on the 8th (local time) that "after calculating the CEO's salary and tax in Japanese yen, we will pay the same amount in bitcoin."
"We plan to purchase the coins at market price and transfer them to a wallet designated by the CEO," the company said, explaining, "This decision reflects our philosophy of sharing the same fate as shareholders."
The company explained, "The compensation will be paid in Japanese yen in accordance with relevant laws such as the Companies Act and tax laws, and then the same amount of Bitcoin will be purchased and paid separately."
Tashiro was officially appointed CEO in June last year and made it clear that he would "place Bitcoin at the center of Remixpoint's financial strategy."
The move to infinity is an extension of this strategy. Remixpoint has been actively holding crypto assets such as Bitcoin as financial assets since before CEO Tashiro took office.

Currently, Tashiro is also on the management team of Remixpoint, as well as BITPoint, a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange affiliated with the SBI Group.
BitPoint recently launched a meme coin for US President Donald Trump called Official Trump.
He previously attracted attention by actively promoting the group "Mr. Trump."
