Metaplanet purchases additional 2,205 BTC, bringing total Bitcoin holdings to over 15,555

Metaplanet, Japan's largest listed company holding Bitcoin, has purchased an additional 2,205 BTC.
Metaplanet announced on the 7th that the average purchase price was 15,642,530 yen (approximately 107,700 dollars).
This brings Metaplanet's total holdings to 15,555 BTC, with an average purchase price of about 99,000 BTC.
According to BitcoinTreasuries.NET, which compiles information on companies that hold Bitcoin, Metaplanet has overtaken electric car maker Tesla.
As of the end of June, it was ranked 5th in corporate holdings. At the time, Meta Planet purchased 1,234 BTC, increasing its holdings to 12,345 BTC, while Tesla held 11,509 BTC.
Meta Planet then purchased an additional 1,005 BTC, worth $108 million, on June 30th, acquiring Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark.
