Toho's musical ”Itaewon Class” to have its world premiere in Tokyo...a splendid opening

The world premiere of the musical "Itaewon Class" was held to great success at Tokyo Tatemono Brillia Hall from the 9th to the 30th of last month.

The Mainichi Shimbun reported, "Toho has created a powerful hit based on a popular Korean webtoon. The story, music, dance, and acting are all excellent in theatrical arts, making it a fun and entertaining musical.

We understand that there may be differences in what we want to achieve, and we will positively consider localizing it with the original creative team."
The musical "Itaewon Class" will continue performances in Osaka from the 6th to the 11th, and in Aichi Prefecture from the 18th to the 21st.
