The Korean newspaper Herald Business conducted a survey on the reasons for not getting married among its readers who visited its website from the 28th of last month to the 4th of July.

The combined total of these responses reached 52%, meaning that more than half of the respondents had in effect chosen to be "voluntary unmarried."
