On July 1 (local time), Jakota Capital, a global investment firm headquartered in Switzerland, released the first benchmark that tracks listed companies related to the cryptocurrency industry.
The index tracks 25 publicly listed companies around the world that are investable in crypto assets, weighted by market capitalization.
The sub-date will be the closing price on June 1, 2025, with the base index starting at 100 points, and the base index on June 30 will be 125.39 points, with the market capitalization at approximately $229.7 billion (USD).
Notably, the US companies Strategy, Coinbase, and Circle each have a high weighting in the index, and these three companies account for approximately 100% of the value of the entire index.
Through this index, Jakota Capital is promoting JAKOTA, a platform that provides systematic analysis and investment strategies for cryptocurrencies.
The strategy was developed by Aleks Rubin of New York.
