Kazakhstan considers stockpiling cryptocurrency as a strategic reserve asset

Kazakhstan is considering ways to stockpile cryptocurrencies as strategic reserve assets.
It has been reported that the Central Bank of Khalifa is planning to stockpile cryptocurrency reserve assets. While acknowledging the risks of cryptocurrency volatility, the bank said it plans to provide proper supervision and risk management under the control of a central authority.
The reserves will be sourced from a state-run cryptocurrency mining operation.
