”76th Sapporo Snow Festival 17th KPF (K-POP FESTIVAL) 2026” will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, and the first ever public call for performers has been decided!

The super premium winter K-POP music festival has been held for 17 years in Hokkaido, the land of the north! For about 17 years, the "Sapporo Snow Festival Official Event" has been livening up the "Sapporo Snow Festival".
It has been decided that the "K-POP Festival KPF (K-POP FESTIVAL)" will be held in 2026. This performance is a historic and traditional brand performance that represents Japan and has been continuing since the early days of the K-POP boom.
Many top Korean artists from the second to fifth generation appeared at the Sapporo Snow Festival, heating up the festival.
It contributes to cultural exchange and friendship. It is the prestigious K-POP concert with the longest history in Japan and has led the K-POP boom. It features many famous K-POP artists.
Since many artists have appeared at the event, it is known as a "gateway to stardom" among K-POP fans. This performance is attracting attention not only from K-POP fans, but also from people in the music industry and the media.
In 2026, for the first time in the history of this performance, the management office will be accepting applications directly from artists who wish to perform at the festival.
We received many applications from people who wanted to have their favorite artists appear, but in many cases, all casting had already been completed, or the timing was not right, so we were unable to have them appear.
The festival opened its doors to artists who wanted to perform and selected the performers. The festival was open to artists who had made their first appearance in Sapporo as part of a brand performance known as a "gateway to stardom."
We are also looking forward to applications from new artists who are aiming for the award. So far, we have seen leading K-POP artists such as "BTS", "i-dle (former (G)I-DLE)", "NCT 127", and "NCT
Just as new artists such as DREAM and SHINee made their Sapporo debut at this concert and went on to have a big break, this is the strongest newcomer who will become a top star in the future.
Now, since the K-POP boom began in Japan, about 50 teams are debuting every year from the "second generation" of legendary stars who made K-POP history to the "first generation."
A lot of K-POP has landed, including new idols called "5th generation". In addition to the saturation of K-POP, there are also K-POP events with high ticket prices without guidelines.
There are also rumors of fatigue. The year 2026 will be a return to the roots of the generation that dedicated their youth to the first K-POP boom, with a special program called "Our K-POP,
The theme of the concert is "Return of the First Lady," and the set list includes some of the most representative K-POP songs from the second and third generations of K-POP, making it a nostalgic and heart-warming experience for a wide range of generations to enjoy together.
In line with the theme of the concert, the public is invited to submit entries for the "RE:VIVAL" program, which will be a part of the history of K-POP, from nostalgic music to ever-evolving music.
Artists who still have the same brilliance as before are also welcome! Since their debut, they had hoped to appear at the Sapporo Snow Festival K-POP FES, but the timing didn't allow them to do so.
Applications for performances are open until the end of July from second and third generation artists and management offices, as well as new management offices hoping to use this performance as an opportunity to make their first appearance in Sapporo.
The 17th Sapporo Snow Festival, which will color Sapporo's winter with music, will be held at the 76th Sapporo Snow Festival.
