Actress Kim Tae Hee revealed that she has experienced insecurity about her appearance. In a recent exclusive interview with Taiwanese media outlet ET Today, Kim Tae Hee spoke about her worries about her appearance, saying, "After I turned 35, I started to worry about my appearance.
"I got married, had children and was busy raising them. When I turned 30, aging started to set in and my skin wasn't as elastic as it used to be," she said.
"I started to feel anxious when I was 40," she said. "I tried to learn how to accept myself. Before I turned 40, I realized, 'There are some things I can't change.'
Kim Tae Hee said that since becoming a mother of two daughters, she is no longer able to spend much time on her appearance, saying, "I need to take care of myself often, but I don't have time."
"I don't have any skin problems, so I get regular laser treatments," she said, adding, "As I try to look my best, I naturally discover a different kind of charm.
I want to continue to maintain my charm and beauty. Not overdoing it, but keeping it natural."
Kim Tae Hee married singer and actor Rain in 2017 and has two daughters.
After giving birth, she returned to the entertainment industry in 2020 with the tvNTV series "Hi Bye, Mama!" and appeared in ENA's "The House with a Garden" the following year.
