「BTS」Vのダンス動画、2日で6000万再生突破
BTS' V's dance video surpasses 60 million views in 2 days
BTS member V's dance video surpassed 60 million views in two days.

On the 11th, V released two dance videos the day after he was discharged from military service. Among them, the dance video in which he danced with dancer Rijon to “Don't Drop That Thun Thun (Remix 98 BPM)” surpassed 60 million views on the 13th, the second day after its release. The video reached 20 million views in two hours and 50 million views in 22 hours.

V donned a military uniform to create a military-themed look, and together with Region, they formed the team “Military Twins,” completing a visually perfect combination.

In a live broadcast after his discharge, V shared, "I originally weighed around 61 kilograms, but it increased to 80 kilograms during military service. Starting a few weeks before discharge, I followed a special diet and exercise routine and have now reduced my weight to 66 kilograms." With his bulked-up body returning to a slim figure, his dance moves became light and groovy, captivating the audience's attention.

In a letter sent to fans during last year's festival period, V wrote, "Lately, I've been going to a corner alone to dance... My body just itches to move. I dance lightly to keep my identity intact!"

Last November, during a short three-day leave from military service, he posted a dance video with Region, showcasing his passion for dance. V left a comment on the video saying, “I'll dance again next year,” and kept his promise immediately after being discharged.

When V mastered two dance routines in a single day and released the video, it sparked astonishment. Netizens who watched the video marveled, “Even if you can learn choreography quickly, can you really master it and dance it so soon?” V is recognized by BTS's performance director Son Seon-duk and the members as having the fastest dance learning ability, and with his excellent memory, he can remember any dance well. Fans sometimes call him the “dance vending machine.”

From the “Hype Boy” challenge, which recorded 111.82 million views, to the “Smoke” challenge, V has flawlessly executed a wide range of genres, including powerful clapping, hip-hop dance, groove-filled jazz hip-hop, and girl group dances.

V's dance videos have sparked a buzz both domestically and internationally, igniting a challenge dance craze. A fan posted on “X,” asking, “Is there any idol with the courage to propose a challenge for V to dance to new or old songs?” The post received over 1,000 comments, with K-POP fans flooding in with requests for their idols and regions to join the challenge together.
