Samsung smartphone saved my life... Ukrainian soldier's post becomes hot topic - Korean media
It has been reported that a Samsung Electronics smartphone saved a soldier's life in Ukraine, which is at war with Russia.

A Ukrainian soldier then wrote a review in the product review section of Samsung Electronics Ukraine's website saying, "The Galaxy S25 Ultra saved my life."
"Shards from the artillery barrage penetrated the display of the Galaxy S25, but the titanium case prevented them from penetrating," the soldier wrote. "The phone literally cut into my body."
"It became a protective armor," he said, adding, "The only unfortunate thing is that I could only use it for three weeks." The problem with the broken smartphone is expected to be resolved soon.
The post quickly spread, and Samsung Electronics Ukraine's customer support responded quickly. Samsung Electronics responded directly to the product review, saying, "We sincerely thank our customers and colleagues for their dedication.
"We are grateful for the support," and added, "We will send you an email regarding the damaged smartphone." Samsung Electronics Ukraine responded to questions from the media about its response after the incident.
"We are grateful for your dedication (to the nation) and your deep trust in Samsung Electronics, and have decided to carry out the repairs free of charge," Major said in a statement.
Currently, the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for more than three years since the outbreak of hostilities in February 2022.
