”NOWADAYS” changes group name to ”NOWZ” on first anniversary of debut... spreading new wings and infinite possibilities

CUBE ENTERTAINMENT announced on the 2nd that it will change the group name of 'NOWADAYS' to 'NOWZ' by releasing the 'NOWZ' logo through its official channel. The rebranding, timed to coincide with the first anniversary of their debut, is intended to re-establish the team's identity and present further possibilities while aiming to grow into a group that attracts attention from a large number of people.

The name 'NOWZ' means “now, now, now” and 'Z' symbolizes not an end, but a beginning, a new beginning, a possibility that expands. Composed of HYEONBIN, YOON, YEONWOO, JINHYUK, and SIYUN, 'NOWZ' will express the group's unique colors more vividly through music and concepts that transcend conventional boundaries.

NOWZ debuted with their first single 'NOWADAYS' on April 2nd, 2024. Since then, the group has released the digital single 'Rainy day (2024 Remake ver.)', the second single 'NOWHERE', and the digital single 'Let's get it', showing its rookie-like vigor and diverse appeal.

In addition, 'NOWZ' won the IS Rookie Award at the 'KOREA GRAND MUSIC AWARDS 2024' and the Blooming Star Award at the '32nd HANTEO MUSIC AWARDS 2024', establishing its presence as a mass newcomer.
