Former President Yoon Seok-yeol sends letter of request to Gwanghwamun rally: ”Please gather your support for candidate Kim Moon-soo” (South Korea)

On the 31st, three days before the presidential election on June 3, former President Yoon Seok-yeol called on his supporters to vote for Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate.
On the same day, the Republic of Korea National Reconstruction Movement, led by Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of the Sarang First Church, was held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
At the headquarters rally, a request from former President Yoon was made public, stating, "Former President Yoon Seok-yeol, whom you all have been longing to meet, has finally delivered a message to the patriotic people of Gwanghwamun."
Lee Dong-hoformer, vice president of the Yeouido Institute, took the podium and said, "Freedom-loving citizens, in order to protect freedom and sovereignty this winter, we must oppose impeachment.
To all the people who have come together with one heart and done everything in their power to achieve this, as you all know, our country is now facing a dire crisis."
Vice-president Lee said, "To protect the country's liberal democracy and normalize the country, I will definitely go to the polls on June 3 and support candidate Kim Moon-soo.
"If you vote for candidate Kim Moon-soo, he will become president and we can protect the freedom and future of this country. Do not miss this opportunity.
"If we do this, it will take too much time and sacrifice, and the restoration of a free democracy and a normal state may be impossible."
Vice President Lee said, "If we come together with one heart, courage, and strength, we can achieve our freedom.
We can protect our sovereignty. The only answer now is to gather our strength behind candidate Kim Moon-soo. We can and will win. Fellow citizens, young people, let's do our best."
