The company is a subsidiary of Eastar Jet, a low-cost carrier that operates the Incheon-Tokushima route, and food giant Haribo.
The company partnered with Tokushima Ramen to develop the product. It has been a year since the project was planned, product discovery, manufacturing, and marketing began. The product is based on the ramen sold in Tokushima Prefecture, and is a soy sauce ramen.
Its unique feature is that it combines the characteristics of both noodles and tonkotsu ramen. To bring out the flavor of this product, it comes with a block of egg yolk. It also comes with sudachi sauce, allowing you to experience the food culture of Tokushima Prefecture.
The container features images of ramen and whirlpools, which are symbols of Tokushima Prefecture. Also, by scanning the QR code printed on the container, information on recommended travel courses and major tourist spots in Tokushima Prefecture is available.
The product will be served as an in-flight meal on the Incheon-Tokushima route from June. Ahn Jong Hyun, a product planner in charge of ramen in the processed food team at Korea Seven, said,
"Our products, which we have developed through collaborations with influencers, famous restaurants, chefs and others in a variety of fields, have been well received by consumers."
