「BTS」JIN、「走れソクジン」終了…「ARMYのための挑戦だった」
”BTS” JIN finishes ”Run Seokjin”... ”It was a challenge for ARMY”
BTS' JIN's exclusive variety show "Run Seokjin" came to a close with episode 3, episode 6.
"Run Seokjin" ended on the 27th as JIN's response to the love of ARMY (fandom name).
It is an independent variety show that was started with the mindset of doing anything to achieve the goal. Every episode features something new, such as climbing Mt. Hallasan, marine police training, an abandoned house experience, mechanical gymnastics, fencing, and action scenes.
In particular, JIN showed his excellent athletic ability and stamina in "Run Seokjin", earning him the nickname "the sports talent stolen by K-pop".
His sociability and fun sense of humor made the show more interesting and earned him a lot of love from fans around the world. JIN is a member of the BIGHIT
MUSIC, "After thinking about how to show my face to the fans who have been waiting for me for a long time since I released Discharge, I decided to create this content.
There were some tough moments, but it was also fun to discover sides of myself that I didn't even know existed."
He continued, "I'd like to thank the guests and production staff who were with me, and most of all, ARMYs who loved 'Run Seokjin' so that it could be sustained for a long time.
"Thanks to everyone who enjoyed watching, I was able to enjoy filming the whole time," he said. JIN chose climbing Mt. Hallasan and action scenes as his most memorable episodes.
JIN said, "When we were climbing Mt. Halla, the production staff were late and told me to hold the camera and go first." Regarding his action scenes, he said, "Even from my perspective, they weren't bad.
"I think it's because I'm handsome," he said, laughing. J-HOPE, a member of "BTS," also shared his thoughts in a video letter in the final episode of "Run Seokjin."
J-Hope said, "My brother always thought about his fans. He does his best even in difficult times and blends in naturally in unfamiliar environments. That's exactly what Seokjin is like.
"You've had a hard time. I love you," she said, cheering him on. The cookie video also caught his eye. JIN is planning his first exclusive fan concert tour, "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR" himself.
The tour is a spin-off of "Run Seokjin" and is expected to reach fans all over the world.
The #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR will begin on June 28-29 at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsan, Goyang City.
Since then, the company has expanded to Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States, London in the United Kingdom, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
The 18th concert will be held in a total of 9 cities, including Dam. Meanwhile, JIN released his second mini album "Echo" on the 16th and is doing great on the global charts.
JIN's new album reached third place on the US Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" (as of May 31), breaking his own personal record high.
It also made its first appearance on the UK Official Chart Album Top 100 (May 23-29) at number 63.
"Me" also ranked 58th on the UK's Official Top 100 Singles.
