China's industrial companies' added value up 6.1% year-on-year in April: Chinese report

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the added value of industrial enterprises above a certain size (enterprises with annual main operating revenues of 20 million yen or more) in April increased 6.1% compared to the same month last year.
By the three major sectors, the added value of mining increased by 5.7% compared to the same month last year, manufacturing increased by 6.6%, and the production and supply of electricity, thermal energy, gas and water increased by 2.1%.
By type of company, the added value of state-owned holding companies increased by 2.9%, joint-stock companies increased by 6.6%, foreign, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan-invested companies increased by 3.9%, private companies increased by 6.7%, and
By industry, the added value of 36 out of 41 industries increased from the same month last year. By product category, the production volume of 341 out of 623 industrial products increased from the same month last year.
Meanwhile, the added value of industrial enterprises above a certain size increased 6.4% in the first four months of this year compared to the same period last year.
