Police have launched an investigation after a woman in her 60s fell and died, and her daughter in her 20s was also found dead.
According to MBC reports, on the 18th, the Iksan Police Station was informed at 9 a.m.
Around 2 p.m., a report was received that a woman in her 60s had fallen from the 15th floor of an apartment building in Mohyeon-dong, Iksan, Jeollabuk-do.
The woman was found dead, with a key and a plastic bag found around her neck. Inside the bag was a note that read: "My daughter, in her 20s, committed suicide last month."
The note contained a message saying, "She died at home." Police searched the house based on the note, and found the deceased daughter, who was in her 20s. The note also contained complaints about financial difficulties.
It is believed that the mother and daughter died as a result of financial hardship and despair, and the exact circumstances of their deaths are currently being investigated.
