”Trauma Code” starring Joo Ji Hoon is a refreshing medical action drama that's as refreshing as cider... the whole world is hooked!

Netflix original series "Trauma Code" is taking over from "The Squid Game" season 2 and gaining global popularity.
Unlike other medical TV series in Korea, "Trauma Code" focuses on the protagonist Baek Kang-hyuk rather than on romance or politics.
The drama focuses on the characters and their way of overcoming a series of emergency situations. Popular culture critic Jeon Deok-hyun said, "Trauma Code is an action drama. It deals with extremely serious situations with ease."
"This is why not only Korean but also international audiences can easily access the work," he pointed out. On the 5th, according to the Netflix Top 10 website, "Trauma Code" will be available from January 27th.
As of the 2nd of this month, it had recorded 11.9 million views (the viewing time divided by the total running time of the show), making it the number one global TV show (non-English).
After ranking third on the third day of its release (January 24th), it quickly rose to first place, proving its global popularity.

They also topped the TV series category in the hot topic survey. Joo Ji Hoon was ranked first among TV series cast members in the hot topic category, followed by Choo Young Woo, HA YOUNG, and Yoon Kyung Ho in 4th, 11th, and 12th place, respectively.
"Trauma Code" tells the story of Baek Kang-hyuk (Joo Ji Hoon), a brilliant surgeon who has been on the battlefield, who is assigned to perform CPR on a no-nonsense severe trauma team.
The eight-part series is the first medical TV series to be released after the medical strike, and has been well-received despite the negative publicity surrounding the medical industry that arose from the government-government conflict.
