On the 18th January, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation announced the results of a big data analysis of boy group personal brand reputation in January 2025. According to the results, Cha Eun Woo occupied the first place, followed by G-Dragon of BIGBANG and JIN of BTS (Bulletproof Boys' Troupe) in second and third places, respectively.
The institute extracted 71,265,079 pieces of brand big data on 745 individual boy groups from the 18th December last year to the 18th January this year and analysed the brand reputation index through the participation index, media index, communication index and community index.
The Brand Reputation Index is an index created through big data analysis after finding that consumers' online habits have a significant impact on brand consumption. It enables the Boy Group to measure positive and negative evaluations of individual brands, media interest, consumer interest and traffic. The analysis also included a brand value evaluation measuring brand influence and a qualitative evaluation of the brand reputation monitor, with recommendation indicators included as weighted values.
