South Korea's National Intelligence Service judges North Korean troops already engaged in combat

South Korea's National Intelligence Service said, "We believe that the North Korean troops dispatched to Russia are already participating in combat."
On the 13th, the National Intelligence Service said, "We will send troops to Russia" regarding the start of North Korean military participation in the war.
"North Korean troops have been stationed in the Kursk area for the past two weeks and have completed their deployment to the battlefield," the report said. It added, "We are currently gathering and analyzing further relevant intelligence and information."
Meanwhile, prior to this, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also told reporters at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on the morning of the 13th (local time) that "North Korea has launched a military offensive.
"The missiles have been deployed to the US and are currently engaged in combat," he said, and "we will take firm action." Despite official confirmation from the US, the South Korean Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not respond to the request on the same day.
Until the morning of the 13th, the South Korean government had been cautious about the North Korean military's participation in the fighting, saying that it was "keeping a close eye on the possibility of it actually happening," but the intelligence agency (National Intelligence Service) has officially confirmed this.
Now that the South Korean government has confirmed that North Korean troops are taking part in the Ukraine war, attention is focused on whether there will be any changes to its response, such as providing weapons to Ukraine.
On the same day, a South Korean Foreign Ministry official said about the step-by-step response measures in response to the start of fighting by North Korean troops dispatched to Russia,
"As Russian-North Korean military cooperation progresses, we will take necessary measures together with the international community in stages."
