Lee Seung Gi appears in court... reads petition in person: ”I took courage for the sake of my junior singers”

Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi appeared in court and read out his petition. On the morning of the 24th, the second hearing for the debt reconfirmation lawsuit was held at the Seoul Central District Court, and Lee Seung Gi appeared as the defendant.
A lawsuit to confirm the non-existence of debt is a lawsuit in which a debtor becomes a plaintiff and seeks confirmation that he or she no longer owes any debt to a creditor. HOOK Entertainment told Lee Seung Gi that
The lawsuit was filed claiming that there was no money left to pay Lee Seung Gi, but the lawsuit was later filed claiming that he should return about 900 million won (about 1 billion yen) in advertising commission settlement money.
On this day, Lee Seung Gi said, "I've been with HOOK Entertainment from my teens to my thirties. If they had been honest with me and properly handled my music fees, I wouldn't have been able to do this.
"I wanted to explain how a celebrity who has made his name known to the public could have spent 20 years without knowing about this natural right. I want to ask my junior singers if they are not aware of this right.
Lee Seung Gi claims that he has been verbally abused and assaulted by CEO Kwon Jin Young since he was a trainee, and that he is uncomfortable with the topic of money.
She added, "I wanted to be seen as someone who was asking for a settlement for money, so after reading what I said in the media, I donated everything except the amount of the lawsuit."
Lee Seung Gi sent a certified letter to management office HOOK Entertainment in November last year, claiming that he had not received payment for his music earnings, and demanding payment of the unpaid earnings.
K Entertainment paid a total of 5.4 billion won (approximately 610 million yen) and then filed a lawsuit to confirm the non-existence of the debt.
