故ハラさん(KARA)、自宅の金庫窃盗事件も再びスポットが
The late Hara (KARA) was not only an important collaborator in the Burning Sun scandal coverage... Her home safe theft case also comes into the spotlight again
It has been revealed that the late Hara, a member of the Korean girl group "KARA", played a crucial role in exposing the collusion between the police higher-ups in the Club Burning Sun case.
The theft of a safe in the late actress's home has once again drawn attention. In the early hours of January 14, 2020, an unidentified man climbed over the wall of the late actress Hara's home in Cheongdam-dong and stole her personal safe.
According to CCTV footage released at the time, the man tried to open the door using the door lock keypad, but the password did not match and he moved along the wall of the house.
The burglar climbed onto the exterior wall and entered the house from the second floor balcony. The burglar is believed to be someone who knows the layout of Hara's house well, was unaware that the password had been changed, and was unaware of the fact that the deceased had been killed.
The fact that he entered the password used by the victim, that he only targeted the safe without taking anything else, and that it was just after the 49th day after the victim's death and no one was at home, all of these points suggest that the perpetrator knew the victim.
It was believed to have been the work of a person who knew her, or someone who had been hired by her acquaintance. However, the case remained unsolved, as the perpetrator was never identified.
Recently, the Burning Sun incident was brought back to the spotlight through a BBC documentary, and as soon as it became known that Hara had provided clues to the police collusion,
The safe theft case, which remains a mystery even at the time, is also attracting attention again. Kang Kyung-yoon, a reporter who covered the Burning Sun case, said that he was in the perpetrator's group KakaoTalk chat
Kang revealed that Hara helped him realize the character of the police officer. "I still remember that day. I was like, 'Reporter, I'm Hara. I really want to help you.'
I really appreciate it," he said, "Koo Hara and Choi Jong Hoon (former FTISLAND) have been close friends since their debut, and VI (former BIGBANG) has been a great friend to me.
He also knew ANG and Jung Joon Young to some extent. Because of their closeness, he had seen them talking on the phone.
"There are a lot of strange things. I told the reporter, so it's correct.'" Hara passed away in November 2019 at the age of 28.
