”Moon Jae-in XXX” graffiti on the exterior wall of the Seoul Supreme Prosecutors' Office
A man was arrested by police after writing slanderous comments about former President Moon Jae-in and former Director of the National Intelligence Service Suh Hoon on the exterior wall of the Seoul Supreme Prosecutors' Office.
On the 11th, Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested a man in his 40s on suspicion of damaging public property and were investigating the case.
At around 1:30 p.m. on that day, suspect A wrote abusive language such as "Moon Jae-in XXX" and "Soo Hoon XXX" in black spray paint on the wall of the entrance at the back of the Seoul Supreme Prosecutors' Office in Seocho-gu, and then left the glass window.
He is suspected of throwing stones at the building, cracking it. According to officials, when a staff member heard that A was graffitiing the building and went to the scene, he also waved a spray and threw it.
When staff tried to stop him, the suspect threw stones at the exterior wall and front door four times, one of which hit a glass window, cracking it.
It was revealed that suspect A claimed at the scene that he was "under investigation." Police are currently investigating the specific details of the incident.
