“アジアの星”引退まで暗示した歌手BoA、悪質ユーザーへの大規模な告訴を勧める…回復は可能?
Singer BoA, who has even hinted at retirement as the ”star of Asia,” is urged to file large-scale lawsuits against malicious users... is recovery possible?
Singer BoA's management office SM has announced that they are filing a large-scale lawsuit. Will BoA ever recover after going through such a tough time that she has hinted at retirement?
On the 11th, BoA's management office SM Entertainment said, "Currently, we are working on various SNS and video sharing platforms, online communities, etc.
Due to the ongoing spread of false information, malicious personal attacks, insults, and slander against our artists, primarily through social media sites, we are taking legal action against our artists regarding the infringement of their rights.
"We are currently working with Se Jeong Limited, a law firm, and external legal institutions to file large-scale lawsuits both within and outside of Korea."
"We have already collected sufficient information from numerous posts and are currently investigating and filing charges against specific cases, including cyber-wreckers. We are also continuing to gather information.
"The above-mentioned acts have reached a serious level that is unbearable for anyone, and as a result, our artists are suffering greatly," the company said.
The company intends to take legal action against those involved without leniency or consent, and we will continue to take measures to prevent the posting of malicious content.
"We would like to clarify once again that this kind of behavior is a criminal act that harms the honor and dignity of individuals, and we will take appropriate action in accordance with the relevant laws," SM said.
We sincerely ask that you stop these thoughtless attacks on artists."
Previously, BoA had repeatedly revealed that she was having a hard time targeting people who made malicious comments on social media. On the 29th of last month, BoA posted on her channel
In a post on her Instagram story, she wrote, "If I don't manage my body, they criticize me, and if I do, they criticize me... They also tell me I'm too skinny and I should gain some weight, and when I do they say I look like a pig. I don't know what you guys think.
"I'm sorry, but I'm BoA," she said, expressing her displeasure.
BoA also appeared on Channel A's "News A" broadcast on the 30th of last month.
He expressed his views on malicious comments, saying, "I hope that celebrities, who have to live their lives in public, do not become the target of retaliation."
In the process, she also showed a dangerous side. On the 6th, BoA posted on her channel story, "My contract has already ended.
Some people responded that she had mistyped the word "un-te" (retirement) and wrote it humorously, but BoA said, "I'm the one who's going to quit.
There was a mistake, I'm retiring," she said, raising concerns among fans. After fans sent messages of support mixed with concern after BoA announced her retirement, she posted the following day, on the 7th,
"My contract is until December 31, 2025. Until then, I will be really happy and do my best as a singer, BoA. Please don't worry. My beloved Jumping (fan name)
However, soon after, all of BoA's SNS posts disappeared, which made me even more sad. BoA debuted in 2000 and was called the "Star of Asia," becoming the driving force behind the Korean Wave.
BoA has been suffering from numerous malicious comments and is going through such a difficult time that she is considering retirement. Viewers are eager to see whether this large-scale lawsuit will free her from her pain.
The lines are gathering.
